Going It Alone In Addiction Recovery | Matt Solo Episode

 In this episode of My Sober Addiction, it is just me, Matt, doing a solo. The collaborations with Dom and Clive from the Breaking My Addictions podcast are going great but solo episodes are still good, too. In fact, thinking about this inspired this episode. When we first move from active addiction into recovery and begin living sober, it is so important to find a new community to belong in. It is critical that we have people around us supporting our recovery and encouraging our continued sobriety. It is also important to learn to be comfortable alone. We have to get to where we can trust ourselves not to relapse when no one is looking. Im encouraging you, dear loved one, to get out into nature and connect with yourself and learn this new sober version of you, you’re not the same person you were during active addiction ya know.
